Ogłoszono nominacje do Grammy Awards 2024

SZA jest liderem nominacji do nagród Grammy 2024 z dziewięcioma szansami !!!

Za nią w tabeli liderów plasują się Phoebe Bridgers, inżynier/mikser Serban Ghenea i gwiazda R&B Victoria Monét, z siedmioma nominacjami; oraz Jack Antonoff, Jon Batiste, Boygenius, Brandy Clark, Miley Cyrus, Billie Eilish, Olivia Rodrigo i Taylor Swift, po sześć.

Pięciu artystów – Taylor Swift, Jon Batiste, Miley Cyrus, SZA i Olivia Rodrigo – nominowanych jest w każdej z kategorii „Wielkiej Trójki”: album, płyta i piosenka roku. Trzy kolejne – boygenius, Billie Eilish i Lana Del Rey – są nominowane w dwóch kategoriach „Wielkiej Trójki”.

Artystki zdobyły sześć z ośmiu nominacji zarówno w kategorii płyta, jak i album roku. Nominacje w obu kategoriach uzupełnia trio składające się z trzech kobiet (boygenius) i jednego mężczyzny (Batiste). W kategorii najlepszego nowego artysty panuje większa równowaga, ale kobiety wciąż przodują. W tej kategorii znajdują się cztery kobiety, trzech mężczyzn i jedno małżeństwo (The War and Treaty).

Dzięki swojej hipnotycznej balladzie „What Was I Made For?”

Pozostali nominowani do nagrody dla najlepszego nowego artysty to Gracie Abrams, Fred again…, Ice Spice, Jelly Roll, Coco Jones, Noah Kahan i The War and Treaty.

Kolejna oznaka siły Barbie: cztery z pięciu nominowanych w kategorii Najlepsza Piosenka napisana dla mediów wizualnych pochodzą z filmu. (Jedyną biorącą udział w konkursie piosenką inną niż z soundtracku Barbie jest „Lift Me Up” Rihanny z filmu „Black Panther: Wakanda Forever)”. Mimo wszystko „Barbie: The Album” został pominięty w kategorii Albumu Roku.

W tym roku gala Grammy dodała trzy nowe kategorie: Najlepsze Nagranie Muzyki Pop, Najlepszy Album z Jazzem Alternatywnym i Najlepsze Wykonanie Muzyki Afrykańskiej.

David Guetta ma dwie z pięciu nominacji w kategorii Najlepsze Nagranie Dace Pop. Francuska supergwiazda jest nominowana za „Baby Don’t Hurt Me” nagrane we współpracy z Anne-Marie i Coi Leray oraz „One in a Million” we współpracy z Bebe Rexha.

Only the Strong Survive” Bruce’a Springsteena i „Pieces of Treasure” Rickiego Lee Jonesa są nominowane do nagrody w kategorii Najlepszy Album z tradycyjnym popowym wokalem, a w ostatnich latach jej zakres poszerzył się.
