Podczas ceremonii rozdawania CMA Awards nie obyło się bez ciekawych występów. Kenny Rogers, weteran z Nashville, który całkiem niedawno powrócił swoim kolejnym wydawnictwem, tu - z Jennifer Netles, wokalistką grupy Sugarland

6 listopada po raz 47 rozdano Country Music Association Awards czyli najważniejsze nagrody w muzyce country.
Nie obyło się bez ciekawych rozwiązań, jak statuetka dla George'a Straita w kategorii Entertainer Of The Year czyli Artysta Roku. Wyróżnienie to wróciło niejako do Straita po dwudziestu trzech latach (!!!).
Jednak absolutną sensacją i pierwszym takim wypadkiem w historii zakończyło się przyznanie nagród w kategorii Wokalista i Wokalistka Roku. Statuetki bowiem trafiły do małżeństwa, Blake'a Sheltona oraz Mirandy Lambert. Poniżej w oryginale pełna lista nagrodzonych.
