Statuetki ACM Awards, po raz 55 rozdane- bez publiczności - za to w gwiazdrorskiej obsadzie

 

16 września po raz 55 odbyła się ceremonia rozdania nagród Akademii Country Music Awards- oczywiście bez publiczności, z prowadzącym Keithem Urbanem, a występy odbywały się w legendarnym klubie Bluebird Cafe w Nashville, Ryman Audytorium tamże i Grand Ole Opry House. To ostatnie legendarne miejsce w tym roku obchodzi 95 lecie istnienia. Z tej okazji Carrie Underwood wykonała sześć klasycznych przebojów na czele z "Crazy" Willie Nelsona, choć wypromowane przez Patsy Cline czy "A Borken Wing" Martiny McBride.

W tym roku nagrody trafiły do młodziaków- po dwie statuetki zgarnęła Tenille Towns, Thomas Rhett, Luke Combs, Old Dominion i Maren Morris.  

 Podczas wielu występów pojawili się m.in Taylor Swift, Trisha Yearwood, Tim McGaw, Miranda Lambert czy Blake Shelton z Gwen Stefani
