Nominacje do Grammy Awards 2022

 

 


 

We wtorek 23 listopada poznaliśmy nominowanych do nagrody Grammy. Najwięcej szans na statuetki mają: Jon Batiste, Justin Bieber, Doja Cat oraz H.E.R. Nie zabrakło również nominacji m.in. dla Kanye Westa, Olivii Rodrigo, Taylor Swift i zespołu BTS.


Jeszcze przed ogłoszeniem nazwisk nominowanych akademia Grammy poinformowała o zmianach organizacyjnych. Największa związana jest z czterema najważniejszymi kategoriami - album roku, utwór roku, nagranie roku i najlepszy nowy artysta. W każdej z nich rozszerzono liczbę nominowanych do 10 wykonawców !!!

Nagrodę Grammy otrzymywać będzie też każdy twórca, który pracował nad konkretną płytą, bez względu na jego wkład.

Ogłoszone 23 listopada nominacje wyłoniły czterech wykonawców z największą liczbą szans na statuetki. Najwięcej statuetek - 11 - może zgarnąć wokalista i kompozytor Jon Batiste.

Po osiem nominacji zgarnęli natomiast: Doja Cat, Justin Bieber, H.E.R., Billie Eilish oraz Olivia Rodrigo.


W najważniejszej kategorii Grammy - album roku - oprócz wyżej wymienionych, powalczą również Tony Bennett i Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift, Kanye West i Lil Nas X.



Dzięki nominacjom za płytę "Love For Sale" 95-letni Tony Bennett został najstarszym nominowanym do nagrody w kategoriach ogólnych oraz drugą najstarszym nominowanym we wszystkich kategoriach Grammy. Również JAY-Z ustanowił nowy rekord. Dzięki trzem nowym wyróżnieniom został artystą z największą liczbą nominacji do Grammy (83), wyprzedzając tym samym Paula McCartneya i Quincy Jonesa.


11 nominacji dla Johna Batiste'a to największa niespodzianka tegorocznych ogłoszeń. John Batiste to amerykański wokalista, kompozytor, autor tekstów oraz lider zespołu Stay Human. Nagrywał i współpracował z najpopularniejszymi twórcami na świecie - Prince'em, Lennym Kravitzem, Edem Sheeranem. Na koncie ma osiem albumów studyjnych, a jego dyskografię zamyka płyta "We Are" z marca 2021 roku. Batiste jest też laureatem Oscara w kategorii najlepsza muzyka (skomponował ją razem z Trentem Reznorem i Atticusem Rossem).
